Hi, my name is Andrea Thompson and I am the owner and groomer of Dazzling Dogs Pet Grooming.
I grew up loving animals, we owned dogs, and I did some horseback riding. Occasionally I helped out on a nearby farm. I always wanted to become a veterinarian, but life had other plans. I started grooming pets to get into the pet care business and I found I loved grooming pets so I decided to keep doing just that. Sometimes things turn out better than planned!
When I opened the salon in April of 2006 I already had years of experience in the field of grooming and also training dogs. Currently I am a member of the Companion Dog Training Club of Flint and the Dachshund Club of America, and a volunteer for ATRA (Airedale Terrier Rescue & Adoption).
I strive for continued education through grooming and behavioral seminars, Groomers email lists and educational exchange, and by attending dog shows.
